Here Comes Santa Claus!!

We had a busy weekend filled with breakfast with Santa, a birthday party and brunch with Santa after church on Sunday! And we also went Christmas shopping, too!!! With a toddler it takes twice as long to accomplish anything...but Russ and I just muscled through it and ended the weekend with a nice long nap! Thank you GA for taking a 3 hour nap this afternoon!

As you can see we are not fans of Santa Claus yet and Grace Ann informed us that he doesn't have to stop by our house this year! On Saturday morning at our breakfast with SC we got a glimpse of the sheer horror that a toddler goes through when they see people dressed up. We didn't get any snapshots of that event but we did get it on video. However, this morning we put our sweet unsuspecting daughter through the terror once again so I could get a photo op for this year in her life. She will thank me later, I think. So here are some of my favorites from this morning...

Not a fan!!!!!&*(%^$#@!

Mommy, don't let him get any closer!
(My attempt at a semi-pleasant pic by the wooden Santa. The real Santa was sitting near by!)

Okay Santa you stay over there!

Tis' the Season

We had Mom, Enjoli, Camden and Rick over for Thanksgiving and boy, two little ones are double the fun! Grace Ann had some trouble learning how to share her toys and keeping her hands to herself. Definitely, something we need to work on! Hopefully, we are going through a stage and she will outgrow this! But just in case I have ordered "The Happiest Toddler on the Block."

On Thanksgiving morning I forced my family to go to the Turkey Chase at North Beach in CC, where we did the 2 mile walk. Now I am not a competitive person, but for some reason I was out to win or at least place in the walk. How hard could it be? Ummm.....yeah....it was pretty hard and I super sore! But it was totally worth it b/c I got 2nd place in the woman's walk! There was this extremely fast lady about 15 feet ahead of me and she was truckin' it! Russell also commented that I looked pretty silly as a fast walker! Yes, I know my legs were a goin' and my backside was stickin' out! GA was with me for about 1 and a half, then I got down to business and I handed her off to Russ. Then as I was waiting for everyone else to finish here comes Russ LEISURELY walking across the finish line and HE GOT 2ND PLACE TOO! Not to rain on my sweet husband's parade, but he clocked in at 37min!!!! And his medal was bigger than mine!!!

But after the race we all headed home to cook the turkey and have a great family meal! The kids had a great time eating pumpkin pie and we just laughed at how they smeared themselves with it. Rick took some funny pictures, which I will have to post later. Enjoy the pics from the weekend.

(The few in the Christmas outfits were our attempts at taking some shots for the Christmas card!)

Camden has the sweetest smile!!

I love this picture...he was having such a good time running ALL over the place!

Minnie Mouse

Halloween was a busy week for us. It started with my interview for a kinder position in Rockport, which I found out later, that I got the job! Yea.....but that's another post! Then I had bunco at my house on Wednesday, our 1st annual Halloween Bash on Friday night and then trick or treating on Saturday night with our friends! Whew....I was tired and I had to go to work on Monday!!! Here are a few pics of our little Minnie Mouse who did not like her cute little ears for very long! So then we opted for the mini bow!

The only pic of the complete outfit!
Posing with AG!

A visit to the Pumpkin Patch!

Today we went to the Pumpkin Patch at the Methodist Church. They had it decorated so cute and we couldn't wait to show off our little pumpkin cutie! I have to say her hair pretty much matched the color of the pumpkins! I decided to be a little crafty and made this halloween tutu after I saw a friend of mine make one for her little girl! Honestly, it is not that hard to do! I hope you enjoy the pics I posted, because I took about 50 in just a matter of 15 minutes! And Grace Ann has begun to walk! She began taking steps last month and this month she has really been on the move. So if anyone has any good suggestions on shoes for her at this stage that would be great! I have search engine overload on what to get!

GA and her daddy taking a walk!
I found a good one!

Her shirt says,"so cute it's scary!"

Too cute!

I handed this bigger pumpkin to her and I think she was shocked on how heavy it was.

No, you can't pick that one up!
Happy Halloween everyone!

We're back!

We have been going, going, going these past few weeks! So I am finally updating the blog after a month long hiatus! Now that I have a break from work, I can get back to doing some things that I pushed back....like cleaning out closets and working in our yard! Here are some pics of what the Sebring 3 has been up to:
Swinging with my dad in the front yard!
Hanging out with Granddaddy!

Getting my work done while Mom cleans!

Spending some time with my Uncle Mick before he leaves for Iraq. We will miss you!!!

Getting ready for bed! I just love brushing my RED hair!

Last weekend, Russ, GA and I rode up to Austin to visit some college friends and do some tailgating before the Texas v. Colorado game! We had the best time and can't thank Scott, Laura and Makinley enough for the wonderful visit!!! Russ had a great time at the game and the girls had so much fun playing together! I will post those pics soon!

You Go Girl 5K Fun Run

Well, I laced up my running shoes and headed out to the "You Go Girl" 5K with my mommy group! Let me just tell you it was pretty dang hard! I haven't ran very much this summer and I was definitely feeling it around mile 1.5! But thankfully I had my MJ on the IPod and when Thriller came on I did feel a little pep in my step. I had two goals: one to not walk and two to finish. So after 35 min. and 46 seconds....yep that's right (11:30 minute miles) I finished.

Here is a little snapshot of the group! We look pretty peppy for having to up SUPER early when we would rather sleep in........

Some of the girls did the 2mile walk and these girls did some fast walking! They placed first and fourth! Way to go Nicole and Sara!

GA and Russ came and showed their support by getting up early and shuttling me over to the race. What a great hubby! And GA was a trooper, too! Until the next race and I am definitely going to get back to better running regime!

Hanging out with AG's family!

During our relaxing Labor Day weekend, we went over to our friend's house who happen to have a sweet little girl that is 3 weeks younger than GA and her name happens to be Anna Grace or cutely known as AG. So my friend Tara and I thought these girls should be friends and we organized a fun get together for GA and AG and their folks! They played in the pool and had some fun pink visitors come over! (After the flamingos landed in our yard from the G-P Volleyball team -thanks Aleisha and Jonathon, we sent them over to Tara and Tree's house).
Thanks you guys for a fun adult and wild kiddo night! We had a blast!

What cute little girls!
"I think they went that way!"

GA thought this pool was way fun!

It's been awhile...

Whew....where has the time gone? I can't believe I have not updated in over a month! We have had many changes in the Sebring household. I have gone back to work as a long time substitute in a kindergarten classroom and have been busy ever since. Grace Ann has started going to a wonderful lady's house with four other teacher's children and she absolutely loves it! I was the one who was definitely broken hearted over the whole ordeal. But thankfully I have such supportive friends who listened to my worries and helped me to see that we would be okay. And I have to say going back to work wasn't that scary! Within the week, we were both well adjusted to our new schedule. Although I do miss hanging out in my pj's and workout clothes during the day!
So here are some pictures of GA on her actual birthday at Grandma Sebring's house before Jack and his family left for Frisco! Thanks Marcie and Keith for coming to our sweet girl's 1st birthday party!

Here is Jack showing GA the ropes on how to operate her new stroller! Watch out Stroller Strides GA has some wheels!
Hey guys!

Doll baby is always by this girl's side!

What a cute birthday girl!

We had so much fun and GA had the best first birthday we could have ever asked for! Russ, Grace Ann and I were surrounded by friends and family to celebrate the day that changed our lives forever! A huge thanks for all the wonderful and thoughtful gifts to Grace Ann and all the help preparing for the party from our parents!
