You know...life just keeps on getting busier and busier with each month! Thank goodness for the Iphone and all the pictures I am able to capture on the go!  Keeping 3 kiddos entertained and busy enough to get them tired for nap time is one hard job!

Davis 4 month photo shoot!

When my parents came in to drop off Grace Ann, we did a little photo shoot with Davis to capture him at 4 months!  My mom knitted the cutest owl hat and we used the blanket she made him, too!  Davis was a little trooper and gave us his cute smiles and a few tears, too!

I sure do love this boy!

Grace Ann's Big Trip

Grace Ann had the best time when she went to visit my parents, her Grannie and PopPop! They went to a friend's farm, the Houston Children's Museum, and had so much fun swimming in the backyard! And her Grannie played dress-up with her, which she is all about! (Notice the first picture!) She had so much fun that when they brought her back, she threw a huge fit in their car about not wanting to come home and stayed in their car for 30 minutes just bawling her eyes out! Boy, did Russ and I feel like chop suey! We got over it, when she realized that being back with us wasn't too bad...and the fact that Grannie and Pop-Pop were spending the night which helped out a lot!

GA is on the road...

This little girl is on vacation ALL.BY.HERSELF. with her Grannie and Pop-Pop and is going to love every minute of the attention!  We get her back on Friday and I can't wait to see her! She has been gone all week and we miss her like crazy!!!

Davis is 4 months old!

Poor baby...these pictures were taken after his shots had given him some fever and he was not a happy camper...his little eyes are puffy from crying and I think my eyes were too!  I hate when this little guy is not feeling good.

Davis turned 4 months on July 7th!

4 month STATS:

Weight: 16lbs. (75th%)
Height: 26.5 in. (92nd%)

He is a big boy!  I am curious how he and Henry will look up against each other when they are in high school, it will be fun to see!

What's going on with this boy...

SLEEP:
Davis is still in our room sleeping in his pack and play, sometimes swaddled all the way other times swaddled with his arms loose and definitely with a paci in the mouth.  He sleeps through the night, but I do occassionally get up to put the paci back in his mouth when he starts to squirm around and that usually does the trick. I put him down around 8:30 to 9:30 pm and he will sleep until 7:00 or 7:30am.

EATING:
He eats about every 3 to 3 and half hours during the day, no rice cereal yet, but will be starting it in the near future.  I have been working with him on taking a bottle, but so far he just isn't going for it. So for now, we are attached at the hip!  Most of the time it doesn't bother me, bc he is my baby-baby and this is the last time, but sometimes this mamma needs a little break. I am going to keep attempting the bottle, so we will see.

Milestones:
Davis has been really interacting with us this month, he coos and makes sweet faces and cute noises to show us he is excited.  He loves to watch Grace Ann and Henry play and loves for people to talk to him. He has good neck and head control and can bring his hands together and grab his feet.

He loves...
  • to be held and cuddled.
  • to be on the boppy pillow for tummy time.
  • his paci.
  • to swing in the little lamb swing.
  • his family!
So thankful for this sweet boy and so glad God put him in our family!

Mowing like Daddy!

Henry loves to do things with Daddy and when he hears the mower he runs to get his to help his Daddy!
