Look at this BIG boy!

I can't believe he is 8 months old!

Weight: probably 19.5 lbs. 60th%

Height: 28 1/4 inches long  75th%

This month has been so much better with eating and sleeping!  At the beginning of the month he had a bad infection that made him cough so hard he would throw up!  Yuck and ear infections in both ears!  So after a quick visit to the dr. and another dose of antibiotics, he is much, much better!

Eating: He nurses 4 x a day, usually once when he wakes up, 12:30ish, 4:30ish and bedtime 7:30.

Then he eats breakfast, lunch and dinner like the rest of us, which has me on my toes as what to introduce to him.  Thank goodness for the food ninja! I can whip up some bananas pretty fast!

Sleeping: We are on a schedule people! Yes, I know he is 8 months old, but this boy is a product of the carpool nap all too often!  So we are working around it, quick morning nap after drop-off and a longer afternoon nap after pick-up.  Then off to bed btwn 7:00-7:30pm! He has been better about not night waking, but will occasionally.  If we are lucky he will sleep until 6 or 7am. But no complaints, I just a solid 7 hours.

Milestones: No crawling, but he is mobile in the way of creeping. And he can roll all over the place. He can sit without support and go down to his stomach, too.  He loves toys with music and bright lights.  Not too interested in Baby Einstein like brother and sister were, but I hope that will come.  Loves to watch people and is super interested in GA and Henry!  He can also put a cracker to his mouth and pop that pacifier back in, too!   All in all, he is at a fun stage with his big belly laughs and trying to get into everything!
