It's Cookie Decorating Time!

Before we left to visit my parents on Friday, Grace Ann and I decorated some sugar cookies to take to Grannie and Pop-Pop's.  She loved putting lots of icing on them and also lots of sprinkles! But, hey she's 4 and that's exactly what four year olds do, right?!
Then, today for Christmas Eve, we decorated gingerbread cookies for Santa and for some of our friends who live in our neighborhood.  Grace Ann ended up getting distracted after sprinkling a few cookies, so me and Russ finished them up! Even though, I was doing this for GA and I do together on Christmas Eve and start this sweet tradition together, I loved decorating them, too!  And Russ was super smart about putting icing into the medicine dispensers that they give you at CVS.

Grace Ann's Christmas Party at school

On Friday, brother and I went to be with sister for her Christmas party!  It was an adventure! Russ couldn't get away from work to come by and help and I had to deal with Henry racing around the room trying to touch every toy on the shelves.  I feel so bad, bc I remember being a teacher at parties and seeing little siblings destroy my classroom. And I hated it! I guess this is karma...
Plus, I was a sweating pregnant mess! It was quite a sight! So these are the pictures from her little party.  She had fun getting to eat special treats with her friends and enjoying the festivities!   Even though it was hard to be there by myself, I am glad I got to share it with Grace Ann!

The Sillies!

Love this picture...future: big sister annoyed with cute little brother?
Will I ever get a good picture of the two of them! Yikes! what happens when there are 3!

Grace Ann's Christmas Program

In early December, my mom and Rick plus me, Russ and Henry watched sweet sister perform in her school's Christmas Program.  This year the theme was "Happy Birthday Jesus!" and it was so cute!  GA had a speaking part and was an angel.  Although poor thing her halo kept falling down! I guess that was the Lord's way of making us laugh a little, bc she is definitely our angel but her halo does have a hard time staying straight some days!

Right after she said, "Clomp, clomp, clomp went the donkey's feet."
I had to include some cute pictures of Mr. Henry, too!  He loved watching "sissy" at the performance, especially since he had a little wiggle room to dance with the music!  These pictures were taken on a morning that I got to enjoy a visit to the chiropractor to get my lower back realigned!  Thanks to Pop-pop and Grannie I did not have a little tag-along!  Grandparent babysitting is the best gift ever!
What a smile! I love you sweet boy!

The other day...

The other day...
It was really cold, very unlike South Texas, and I made a day out of laundry, sorting and cleaning toys and watching the kids wear warm clothes and making up their own kind of fun.
So this is what I found when I got carried away with the laundry...

Fun in Goliad with Friends!

Last Saturday, we went to Goliad to one of Grace Ann's friends birthday party.  It was cowboy themed and we all had such fun being outdoors (although it was a little too hot for this pregnant lady)!  Henry loved pushing a little girl's stroller around...he attaches himself to anything with wheels! He is colorblind to pink and just pushes and pushes because he loves things to move!  Henry also had fun sitting with Daddy on the tractor!

Russ sneaking around the corner to surprise brother!
Henry also found this bow to play with later on in the party.

Later that night we headed to Meme and Pepaw's to the boat parade on the island.  As you see only one of my children was all about the lifejacket!  Grace Ann insisted on taking on a phone and a purse with her on the boat!  She is too funny!
We were definitely exhausted after a birthday party, touring the Goliad market place and watching the boat parade, but it was well worth it! We had a great time!

27 weeks!

His name on the fridge!
